I Have Five Kick-Ass Brothers – Episode 57

Victor’s estate claimed authority over assets Coco received while believed to be a Lincoln. The filing argued that his childhood guardianship agreement entitled him to manage those assets, and his estate now inherited that right while he awaited trial.

The claim targeted gifts, trusts, and property the Lincolns had given Coco before the switch was discovered. Much of it had already been returned or frozen, but the lawsuit could reopen years of family finances and delay restitution to victims.

Coco asked for no Lincoln money. She wanted the agreement declared fraudulent so Victor could not use her childhood signature to profit again. Her position surprised the attorneys who expected a fight over inheritance.

Zoey Grant surrendered through counsel and explained the bank visit. She had infiltrated her sister’s network after learning stolen biometric molds were being sold. Taking the box illegally was her attempt to preserve evidence, not claim it.

Raina questioned why Zoey chose more deception instead of contacting authorities. Zoey admitted she trusted no institution that had failed victims for years. Her motive was understandable, but impersonating Coco had still caused harm.

Prosecutors offered limited protection for testimony, not immunity. Zoey accepted and provided the original silicone molds, production files, and instructions used to recreate Raina’s and Coco’s identities.

The guardian agreement inside the metal box contained Coco’s genuine signature beneath pages she had never seen. Victor added the asset-control clauses after the notary appointment, using removable paper guides to hide the true document.

The notary, now retired, remembered Victor insisting that Coco sign alone while he waited outside. Her records included a carbon impression of the original travel permission, proving the substituted pages were fraudulent.

Family court dismissed Victor’s claim and referred the filing for criminal review. Assets designated for restitution remained protected, and Coco gained formal recognition that childhood consent had been manufactured.

The decision affected Raina more than she expected. Coco had used stolen identities willingly as an adult, yet she had also been trained from childhood to sign what powerful people placed before her. Both truths could exist together.

During a supervised conversation, Raina told Coco that understanding manipulation did not erase responsibility. Coco replied that she no longer wanted erasure. She wanted to know where influence ended and her own choices began.

They discussed the night Raina left the Smith mansion. Coco admitted enjoying her pain because it made the world feel balanced. She had mistaken another person’s loss for proof that her own suffering mattered.

Raina did not soften the memory. She explained that Coco’s words remained among the most painful she had heard. Coco apologized without asking whether the apology was accepted.

Outside the room, Mrs. Lincoln waited for both women. She offered Coco a future relationship conditioned on honesty and respect, not wealth or blood. Coco agreed that trust would have to be earned slowly.

The Lincolns recovered the childhood property Victor tried to seize. They placed it in an independent trust for restitution, following Coco’s written instruction. Noah ensured she received separate legal advice before signing.

Raina returned to wedding planning with one decision settled: no document would be signed without independent review, no matter how romantic or routine it appeared. Theo added the same rule for himself.

They selected a small ceremony at the construction-site garden created beside the food stand. The location represented work, family, and ordinary choice rather than either fortune.

Henry immediately violated the spirit of “small” by proposing a live orchestra. Raina reduced him to a quartet and made Luke responsible for preventing hidden livestreams.

The wedding date remained private among twelve people. Within an hour, an invitation appeared online with the correct date and location.

The leaked card carried no malware or threat. It contained only one added sentence: “The bride has five brothers, but one of them will not reach the ceremony.”
