Claimed by the Alpha I Hate – Episode 47
Nolan’s plan placed Daisy at the chapel entrance while Blackwood warriors circled through the forest. A protective barrier waited beneath her skin, ready to signal the attack.
“If anything changes, you leave,” Nolan told her through the mate bond. Their growing connection now carried simple thoughts across short distances.
Daisy entered alone. Her grandfather was bound near the altar, bruised but conscious.
Scott stepped from behind a pillar. Seeing him again felt like confronting a life Daisy had already outgrown.
“You,” she said. Shock quickly became disgust.
Scott smiled as though his return were a victory. “You look different, Daze.”
“Don’t call me that.” The nickname no longer carried power over her.
He claimed Nolan had stolen Eastwind and manipulated her through a second mate bond. If Daisy helped restore Scott as Alpha, he promised to overlook her vampire blood.
“You rejected me because I couldn’t shift,” Daisy said. “Now you want me because I’m powerful.”
Scott called his earlier choice a mistake, though he never apologized for the pain. His regret centered on what Daisy had become, not what he had done.
Her grandfather warned her not to bargain. A vampire struck him hard enough to draw blood.
Daisy’s barrier erupted across the chapel. The flash signaled Nolan, and Blackwood warriors attacked from every entrance.
Scott seized Daisy’s arm. The remnants of their rejected bond offered no hold over her now.
She broke his grip and drove him into the altar with strength controlled by Vera’s pendant.
Nolan reached her as Elias freed the hostage. For a moment Scott faced the Alpha who had inherited everything he abandoned.
“She was mine,” Scott snarled.
Nolan did not need to answer. Daisy stepped between them. “I was never yours.”
Lucien’s vampires released smoke through the chapel, forcing the wolves back. When it cleared, Scott and the surviving attackers were gone.
Daisy embraced her grandfather, relieved by his steady heartbeat. The rescue had succeeded, but Scott’s return changed the conflict.
Outside, Nolan found a second message from Lucien. Klaudius no longer requested a meeting. He demanded Daisy’s surrender—and promised the next hostage would not survive.
