I Have Five Kick-Ass Brothers – Episode 46

The reunion footage showed Raina entering the humble house while five brothers waited beyond the hallway. Only the Lincolns, a handful of staff, and the person behind the hidden camera could have possessed that view. Melody had managed the household, but the recording predated several choices she later claimed as her own.

Luke identified the camera as part of an old home-security system supposedly removed before Raina arrived. Its data had been routed through a private server registered to Lincoln Group’s former risk director, a man named Victor Lane.

Victor had supervised the search for Raina for fifteen years. He resigned after reporting that every credible lead had failed, then accepted a consulting role with Jones Group’s family office. His position connected both households without drawing attention.

Noah remembered trusting Victor’s recommendation to hide the family wealth. The idea they considered their own may have been planted deliberately. If Raina rejected the test, Victor could report that the missing daughter wanted money; if she accepted poverty, her family would remain distracted by the performance.

Theo found Victor’s influence in his search as well. Victor had approved the investigator who identified “the Smith daughter” without distinguishing Raina from Coco. Every mistaken conclusion led back to his quiet guidance.

Mr. Jones disclosed that Victor still held a limited advisory contract granting access to historical case files. He had never been suspected because he delivered accurate information mixed with carefully placed omissions.

Investigators went to Victor’s registered address and found the house empty. Unlike Zoey’s rushed departure, his disappearance was organized. Accounts closed months earlier, travel records ended, and personal belongings had been removed gradually.

Raina studied the Architect’s timeline and noticed predictions stopped after the factory fire. Later notes were written in a different style, suggesting Victor lost direct control and watched his plan fragment among competing conspirators.

He had not ordered every crime. Instead, he supplied people with secrets and allowed their greed to produce chaos. That method protected him while Walter, Carlisle, Melody, Owen, and Zoey carried visible blame.

Coco remembered Victor visiting the Lincolns throughout her childhood. He often asked whether she felt valued compared with the five brothers. His questions had fed resentment long before she knew she was a Smith.

Raina felt compassion without excusing Coco’s actions. Manipulation could explain where a wound began; it could not erase the harm chosen afterward. Coco agreed when investigators relayed the observation.

A review of Victor’s reports revealed one persistent recommendation: keep the missing-daughter investigation private to protect the family. The advice had isolated evidence and placed him between every source and the Lincolns.

His motive appeared in a sealed personnel complaint. Raina’s grandfather had discovered Victor selling family intelligence and planned to prosecute him. The infant switch occurred before the complaint became public, allowing Victor to present himself as indispensable during the crisis.

Victor had not arranged Walter’s original crime, but he recognized its value and protected the deception. For two decades, the missing daughter guaranteed his access, authority, and income.

When Theo’s search threatened to expose the switch, Victor became the Architect. He released enough truth to control the reunion, expecting both families to break under guilt and suspicion.

The theory was strong but required proof. Luke found a dormant backup server receiving data from the hidden hallway camera. It had reconnected briefly when the community-center projector activated.

The signal came from a private railway car traveling north out of Brookfield. Victor had transformed an old executive carriage into a mobile office, keeping records beyond ordinary property searches.

Authorities arranged to stop the train at the next freight junction. Joshua joined the operation while Raina and Theo monitored remotely with both families.

Before officers reached the carriage, Victor opened a live channel. He congratulated Raina for finding him and claimed every hardship had made her strong enough to lead two empires.

Raina answered that surviving his manipulation did not make him her teacher. Victor smiled and displayed two folders: one contained evidence clearing Coco of ordering the arson; the other contained a document that could strip Raina of the Lincoln name forever.
