I Have Five Kick-Ass Brothers – Episode 51

Raina’s engagement ring had been on her finger less than an hour when Mathew displayed the passenger manifest. A private jet was scheduled to leave Brookfield at dawn, and its first passenger was listed as Raina Lincoln. Zoey had carried the document when authorities arrested her.

Raina had booked no flight and owned no passport under the Lincoln name. The reservation included a diplomatic concierge service, private immigration clearance, and luggage already delivered to the airport. Someone had prepared to move a woman through international borders as her.

Joshua contacted airport security while Luke examined the booking. The ticket had been purchased months earlier, before Victor’s arrest and before Theo’s real proposal. Its departure depended on an automated trigger connected to Zoey’s capture.

The listed destination was Bellmare, a country without a direct extradition agreement. A second passenger appeared under the name Theo Jones, though Theo’s actual travel documents remained secured at home. The plan required two impostors, not one.

Theo looked at the ring on Raina’s hand and understood the intended story. News would report that the newly engaged couple fled together after manipulating both family companies. Their disappearance would make every old accusation seem true.

Noah wanted the flight grounded immediately. Raina suggested allowing check-in to proceed under surveillance. If impostors arrived, they could reveal whoever still possessed stolen identity data and operational control after Zoey’s arrest.

The family agreed only after security established a controlled perimeter. Raina and Theo remained in an airport operations room, visible to officials who could certify that neither boarded the aircraft.

At four thirty, a limousine entered the private terminal. A woman stepped out wearing Raina’s hairstyle, coat, and distinctive star necklace. A man resembling Theo followed with his injured arm bound beneath a tailored jacket.

Facial-recognition software detected prosthetics, but the disguises would fool distant cameras. Their documents passed the first electronic scan because the underlying passport numbers belonged to inactive duplicates created through Zoey’s network.

Security detained both impostors before they reached the jet. The woman identified herself as Maya Torres, a struggling performer promised a luxury commercial abroad. The man, Paul Scott, had received the same false contract.

Neither knew the people they portrayed. A stylist had supplied photographs, mannerisms, and scripted answers. The casting director used the name Grace Davenport and communicated only by encrypted video.

Henry recognized the name as an alias circulating through low-budget productions. Several actors had complained about unpaid work, but no one had connected the recruiter to identity fraud. His industry contacts provided an address for the rehearsal studio.

Police found the studio empty except for racks of copied clothing and walls covered in footage of Raina and Theo. The collection focused on ordinary gestures: how they walked, held cups, and looked at one another when cameras were absent.

Raina felt more violated by those quiet images than by public photographs. The conspirators had not merely stolen documents; they had studied the private language of her relationship.

One rehearsal recording showed Maya practicing a statement about leaving the Lincolns voluntarily. Another instructed Paul to accuse the five brothers of financial abuse after landing in Bellmare.

The staged escape would fracture the family program, damage both companies, and isolate Raina from public support. Its design resembled Victor’s methods, but the studio lease began after his arrest.

Zoey admitted arranging the actors under orders received from Grace. She believed Grace was another Victor alias until investigators showed her the live video used during recruitment. The woman behind it had a real face.

Mrs. Smith recognized her instantly. Grace Davenport had worked as a maternity-ward administrator on the night the infants were switched and later testified that the hospital records were lost.

Grace had disappeared from Brookfield years ago, yet recent border records showed her returning the week before Raina’s DNA test. She had not simply witnessed the original crime. She had spent twenty years protecting its machinery.

Airport staff searched the jet and found one passenger already aboard. Grace sat calmly in the rear cabin with two glasses of champagne, waiting for the false Raina and Theo to arrive.
