Discover the complete story behind this short drama.
The 40-episode journey of The Alpha's Broken Mate follows Lyra's devastating betrayal, painful transformation, and ultimate decision to reclaim her freedom. What begins as a story of fated love quickly becomes a battle against family manipulation, heartbreak, and the consequences of choosing the wrong people.
When her adopted sister Selene causes a fatal accident, Lyra's family pressures her to take responsibility for the crime. Even worse, her fated mate, Alpha Kael, sides with Selene and sends Lyra to Silver Mine Prison, promising to make her his Luna when she returns. He does not know that Lyra is carrying his child. The brutal prison takes away her unborn pup, leaving her with a grief that changes her forever.
After seven years, Lyra is released, but freedom brings no warm welcome. Her family remains devoted to Selene, while Kael expects their bond to continue as though his betrayal never happened. Lyra, however, has already begun planning a new life. During her imprisonment, her resilience catches the attention of a commander from the Crimson Vanguard, who offers her a place in the Border Rescue Unit.
Back home, Selene continues manipulating those around her and tries to claim Kael, even though mate-stealing is forbidden. When her dramatic actions turn the family against Lyra once again, Lyra decides she has nothing left to prove. She prepares to erase her pack identity, sever her soul bond, and leave for the war zone.
Only after Lyra is gone does Kael begin to understand the damage he has caused. His regret and pleas for forgiveness come too late. Lyra has chosen her own future, and a final revelation makes it clear that her heart and life have moved beyond the Alpha who once abandoned her.
