Claimed by the Alpha I Hate โ Episode 61
Klaudius entered the old lodge as though reclaiming property. Vampire guards sealed every exit while Daisy stood over the shattered restraints.
Scott scrambled upright. “I brought her here.” He expected praise for a betrayal Klaudius had never requested.
“You stole her from my servant and imagined that made you valuable,” Klaudius replied.
Daisy watched Scott understand how completely he had misjudged his allies. His hunger for status had reduced him to a disposable tool.
Klaudius held out a hand to Daisy. “Come willingly, and I may spare the wolf following you.”
Through the bond, Nolan was close enough for her to feel his fury. Daisy concealed the relief.
“You murdered my mother,” she said. “There is nothing you can offer me.”
Klaudius denied murder mattered between rulers. Vera had obstructed a future greater than one wolf’s life.
Daisy’s power gathered around her. The casual dismissal of Vera’s sacrifice ended any uncertainty about the man before her.
Scott seized the poisoned knife, hoping to regain control. He pointed it at Daisy and demanded Klaudius recognize his claim.
Klaudius struck him across the room without looking. Scott crashed against the ceremonial platform he once expected to inherit.
“No one claims my daughter but me,” the vampire lord said.
Daisy raised a red-silver barrier. Klaudius’s first attack split it but failed to reach her.
The lodge doors burst inward. Nolan entered in wolf form, followed by Elias and Blackwood warriors.
He crossed the room before the guards could turn. Claws tore through the vampire line protecting Klaudius.
Daisy felt Nolan’s arrival strengthen every thread of her power. The barrier repaired itself around them.
Klaudius smiled at the pair. “The Fenrir heir and my daughter. I could not have arranged a cleaner ending.”
Nolan shifted back, blood marking his hands. “This ends with you.”
The vampire lord released a wave of darkness that shattered the lodge windows and separated Nolan from Daisy.
When the air cleared, Klaudius had taken Daisy through a shadow passage. Nolan followed their bond toward the mountain, refusing to lose her again.
