Claimed by the Alpha I Hate – Episode 60
Scott drove toward the old Eastwind lodge rather than Klaudius’s castle. He had stopped obeying the vampires, though he remained too arrogant to understand that rebellion did not make him free.
Daisy sat beside him with silver restraints around her wrists. The poisoned blade remained within his reach.
“Lucien will kill you for this,” she said.
“Lucien needs me.” Scott repeated the same mistake he made with every stronger ally.
He believed possessing Daisy would give him leverage over Nolan and Klaudius. With her power, Scott imagined reclaiming Eastwind and forcing both packs to recognize him.
“You rejected the bond,” Daisy reminded him. “There is nothing left for you to claim.”
Scott insisted the Moon Goddess had chosen him first. He treated his own rejection as a decision he could reverse once the consequences became inconvenient.
Daisy remembered begging him not to sever them. The memory no longer carried longing—only compassion for the girl she had been.
“I accept that you rejected me,” she said. “You need to accept that I survived it.”
At the lodge, Scott chained her inside the room where he once prepared for his Alpha ceremony. Dust covered the symbols of the rule he abandoned.
He demanded Daisy call Nolan through the mate bond and order him to surrender Eastwind.
She refused. Scott raised the silver blade but could not strike without damaging the power he wanted.
Daisy used his hesitation. Red and silver light moved beneath the restraints, slowly weakening them.
Nolan followed through the strengthened bond. Daisy sent him images of the lodge, the ceremony room, and the eastern entrance.
Scott felt her attention shift. “Stop thinking about him.”
“You never understood the difference between a bond and control,” Daisy said.
The restraints snapped. She disarmed him before he could reach the poison.
Scott fell against the ceremonial platform, staring up at the woman he once called weak.
Before Daisy could leave, the lodge doors opened. Klaudius entered with vampire guards, having followed Scott’s betrayal.
“Thank you for gathering my daughter in one place,” the vampire lord said. Through the bond, Daisy felt Nolan approaching—but Klaudius had arrived first.
