Claimed by the Alpha I Hate โ€“ Episode 58

Eastwind’s healer could treat Nolan’s wound but not the magical exhaustion binding him to Daisy. Their connection had become both cure and danger.

Daisy sat beside him in the Alpha bedroom, afraid to touch. Every surge of her power pulled energy from his wolf.

Vera’s journal offered one possibility: a hybrid could form an internal balance by accepting both bloodlines rather than suppressing either.

The process required confronting the instincts she feared most. Hunger could not be erased; it had to be governed.

Daisy entered the shared dream alone while Nolan slept. The moonlit forest divided into two paths.

One led toward a white wolf waiting among the trees. The other descended toward the black castle and a figure with red eyes.

Daisy refused to choose between them. She called both parts forward.

The wolf approached first, not as a separate animal but as the heritage she thought absent. Vampire power followed like shadow around moonlight.

When the two met, pain tore through the dream. Daisy held her ground.

“Neither of you owns me,” she said. “You are mine.”

The forest changed. Red light settled into silver rather than fighting it.

In the waking room, Nolan’s strength stopped draining. Daisy opened her eyes with control restored.

She touched his wound and healed it without taking anything in return.

Nolan woke beneath her hand. Relief moved through the bond as he realized she had anchored herself.

“I don’t need Klaudius’s ritual,” she said. “And I don’t need Lucien’s bargain.”

They still needed Vera’s pendant. It contained memories and protection her mother intended Daisy to keep.

Nolan proposed using Lucien’s ambition against him. They would agree to discuss the throne while preparing to recover the pendant.

Daisy insisted the vampire court deserved freedom from Klaudius, not replacement by another manipulator.

Their goal expanded beyond revenge: remove Klaudius, expose Lucien, and prevent either from using her people again.

Nolan kissed her hand. Daisy was no longer surviving by borrowing his strength. She was preparing to stand beside him with her own.
