My Alpha Boss Gave Me Triplets – Episode 61
Blackhart wolves surrounded the retreat without crossing its property line. Their vehicles blocked the access road while armed patrols moved through the trees. Inside, human employees, elderly wolves, and families from both packs waited for Evie’s instructions.
Evie opened the building plans from her medical suite. The retreat had three independent shelter zones, each with water, filtered air, and concealed exits. She instructed the manager to divide occupants by mobility and medical need rather than species or rank.
Leopold wanted to lead Stonehearth forces toward the main entrance. Evie showed him the trap: Blackhart had positioned cameras where any advancing wolf would appear to attack a civilian shelter.
“They want the first image to be you charging,” she said. “Do not give them the story before the fight begins.”
Max deployed human security vehicles between the packs and requested police observers. Stonehearth wolves stayed behind the property boundary, visible enough to deter entry but too far away to be framed as aggressors.
Alpha Blackhart demanded Darleen’s release in exchange for opening the road. His message called the retreat an illegal Stonehearth outpost and the civilians willing shields.
The retreat manager streamed voluntary statements from occupants. Families explained that they had entered for safety before the blockade and wished to leave. Their own words dismantled the claim that Leopold held them.
Blackhart cut electricity to the valley. Backup systems activated section by section, exactly as Evie designed. Solar storage powered medical equipment while nonessential lighting shut down.
The attacking pack then jammed phone service. Hardwired emergency lines beneath the building remained active. Evie maintained contact through an old construction circuit omitted from the public project files.
Inside one shelter, a pregnant she-wolf went into early labor from stress. The nearest ambulance could not cross the blockade. Evie directed staff to a small treatment room stocked for emergencies.
Doctor Lara joined by video and coached a human nurse through assessment. The labor was false, but the woman’s blood pressure remained dangerous. A medical evacuation became urgent.
Leopold sent Alpha Blackhart the verified report and requested a temporary corridor. Blackhart refused unless Darleen entered the departing ambulance.
The condition exposed his priorities. Reporters and neutral observers heard him trade a civilian’s health for control of his daughter’s custody.
Evie proposed using the retreat’s service tunnel. It ended beyond the blockade near a maintenance road, but opening it visibly could reveal an escape route Blackhart might later exploit.
Workers moved the patient through the tunnel while the manager staged activity at the front entrance. A human ambulance reached the maintenance road without encountering either pack.
Once the evacuation succeeded, Evie ordered other vulnerable civilians moved in small groups through the same route. Each departure reduced Blackhart’s hostage leverage without producing the confrontation he wanted.
By midnight, only trained staff and volunteer observers remained. The retreat continued operating, proving the blockade controlled roads but not the people inside.
Alpha Blackhart discovered the evacuations and ordered his wolves across the property line. The moment the first patrol entered, concealed barriers rose from the landscape and directed them into a courtyard surrounded by cameras, lights, and human police.
No weapon fired. Blackhart’s trespass appeared live before the regional council, recorded by the very building his pack tried to seize.
Evie watched from her hospital bed as Leopold arrested the patrol under neutral supervision. Her design had stopped an invasion without becoming a fortress—and now Alpha Blackhart had to choose between retreat and exposing the war he claimed not to be starting.
